Email alerts
Never miss a subscription renewal or trial ending again. Substash sends you timely email alerts so you can take action before being charged.
How it works
Substash automatically monitors your subscriptions and sends email alerts at strategic times:
- Trial ending alerts: Sent 3 days before your trial period ends
- Renewal alerts: Sent 7 days before your subscription renews
- Delivery time: All alerts are sent daily so you have time to take action
Viewing alerts
Access your alerts dashboard to see all upcoming and past alerts:
- Open Substash by clicking
Substash - Click on the
📬 Alertstab in the bottom navigation - View your Upcoming Alerts section for alerts that will be sent soon
- View your Past Alerts section to see a history of alerts already delivered
Email requirements
To receive email alerts, you must be signed in with a valid email address:
- Email alerts are sent to the email address you used to sign in
- Make sure to check your spam/junk folder if alerts don't appear
- Alerts are sent from a verified Substash email address
💡 Note: Email alerts are automatically enabled for all signed-in users. No additional setup required!
Managing alerts
Alerts are automatically generated based on your subscription details:
- Start date: Determines when renewal alerts are sent
- Trial period: If set, determines when trial ending alerts are sent
- Billing cycle: Used to calculate future renewal dates
To modify when alerts are sent, simply edit your subscription details to update the start date, trial period, or billing cycle.
