How do I install Substash?
Search for "Substash" in the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome". The extension will install automatically and appear in your browser toolbar.

Do I need to create an account?

Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We only store and sync the subscription data you add—never your browsing history or personal files.

What happens if I delete my account?
Your data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. You can export your data before deletion if needed.

Which browsers are supported?
Substash works on all Chromium-based browsers including Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi. Firefox and Safari are not currently supported.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Export Data. Download your subscription data in JSON or CSV format.
📋 Managing subscriptions
Can Substash cancel subscriptions for me?
No. Substash is a tracking tool only. You'll need to cancel subscriptions directly with each service provider.
How accurate are the cost calculations?
Cost calculations are based on the information you enter. Currency conversions use daily exchange rates for accuracy.
Can I track free trials?
Yes. Set trial end dates and get notified before free trials convert to paid subscriptions.
